Chili/Stew Recipe

I'll be honest, I'm not sure what to call this as it's not quite a chili but it's not really a soup either. What I do know is it's delicious so I figured I'd tell you how I made it.
Ingredients
- 1 lbs ground italian pork sausage
- 1 beef smoked sausage (cut into chunks)
- 3 Russet Potatoes (cut into chunks)
- 2 cans of Chili Beans
- 2 8oz cans of Tomato Paste
- 16oz can of pilsner beer
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 Bag of frozen peppers and onions
- Tablespoon of minced garlic
- Packet of chili powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Honestly this is about as simple as it can get. Get a large pot, and toss in your italian sausage to brown it. Right before it's done, add your smoked sausage and potatoes. When your italian sausage is fully cooked, toss in all your other ingredients and pour in your beer to thin out the tomato paste. Stir until the paste is mixed in and more like a broth. After that, all you have to do is let it simmer for about an hour until your potatoes are soft. Bam! Food for under $25.
